This page describes how California residents can request that LA Sushi Co stop sharing their personal information for advertising and analytics purposes. Together with our Privacy Policy, it explains your rights and how to exercise them.
Your Right to Opt Out
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. “Sharing” under California law includes disclosing your personal information to third parties for the purpose of cross-context behavioral advertising — the kind of advertising that follows you across different websites.
What We Share, and With Whom
We share limited personal information with the following service providers to measure ad performance, deliver promotional content, and analyze how visitors use our website: Meta (Facebook and Instagram) via the Meta Pixel and Conversions API — used for ad measurement and audience matching; Google Analytics 4 — used for website analytics; and Klaviyo — used to send our newsletter and SMS messages when you opt in. We do not sell your personal information for money. All sharing is for limited marketing and analytics purposes only.
How to Opt Out
To exercise your right to opt out, email us at hi@lasushico.com with the subject line “Privacy Opt-Out” and include the email address you have used with us (so we can locate your records). We will process your request within 15 business days as required by California law. You may also opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any email we send you, and SMS messages by replying STOP.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to make this request on your behalf. Send written authorization to the email address above along with your opt-out request. We may require verification of your identity before processing.
Non-Discrimination
We will not deny you our services, charge you a different price, or provide you a lower quality of service because you exercised your privacy rights under California law.
Global Privacy Control
We are working to add automatic recognition of the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal so that opting out is one click instead of an email. Until that is in place, please use the email opt-out described above.
